Members of the AGROFOODTEAM participated in the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Production and Processing (ICAPP) that took place in Novi Sad, Serbia from 20th to 22nd October 2022. Dr. Ioannis Mourtzinos (Associate Professor) was an invited speaker and delivered a lecture on: “Innovative techniques for the extraction and exploitation of bioactive ingredients in foods”. Dr. Anastasia Kyriakoudi (Post-doctoral researcher) gave an oral presentation on: “Revisiting extraction of lycopene from tomato using hydrophobic natural deep eutectic solvents”
